Justin Verlander announced on Twitter Sunday that he will appear on the Conan O'Brien show this week. Verlander will be on the show on Wednesday (11 est) with '30 Rock' and 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' et al. actor Jack McBrayer
Verlander will also be in LA to do a photo shoot with MLB2k12 because, you know, he'll be gracing the cover for that awesome game. Verlander's trip to LA comes on the heels of shooting a modest 79 at Augusta National and a ride in the Ariel Atom at VIRginia International Raceway.
Not a bad start to 2012 for the 2011 Most Valuable Player and AL Cy Young Winner -- get those little things out of the way before you start tackling the all important New Year's resolutions.
