Detroit Tigers Spring Training TV, Radio Schedule Announced

The Tigers spring training schedule features seven games that will be televised on either ESPN or FOX Sports Detroit.

Feb 11, 2012 - The baseball regular season is still a couple of months away, but spring training is right around the corner. Detroit Tigers pitchers and catchers are set to report to Lakeland for spring training a week from Sunday, and the first game of spring training is less than three weeks away.

As preparations for spring training continue, the Tigers recently put together their TV and radio schedule for spring ball. A total of seven spring training games will be broadcast on TV, and 11 will be broadcast on radio. Via MLive, here is the rundown (all times Eastern):

March 14 - Mets at Tigers (1:05 p.m., ESPN)

March 19 - Tigers at Phillies (1:05 p.m., ESPN)

March 20 - Braves at Tigers (1:05 p.m., ESPN)

March 21 - Twins at Tigers (1:05 p.m., FSD)

March 29 - Nationals (split squad) at Tigers (6:05 p.m., FSD)

March 31 - Tigers at Braves (1:05 p.m., FSD)

April 4 - Tigers at Mud Hens (12 p.m., FSD) *Exhibition game*

Radio schedule

March 3 - Tigers at Braves (1:05 p.m., 97.1 The Ticket)

March 4 - Braves at Tigers (1:05 p.m., WXYT-AM)

March 5 - Blue Jays at Tigers (1:05 p.m., 97.1 The Ticket)

March 9 - Phillies at Tigers (1:05 p.m., WXYT-AM)
