The Chicago Bears are the favorites over the Detroit Lions in Week 7.
In many respects, both the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears have been surprising in 2012. The former was supposed to have established itself as an elite offense that was going to continue hanging with any team in the league this year, while the latter just didn't appear to have its act together. Now, the Bears sit atop the NFC North with a 4-1 record, while the Lions are 2-3 at the bottom, though both teams won their last game.
According to SB Nation's NFL odds page, the Bears opened up as 6-point favorites for the game on Monday night. Some of the other lines have moved a little, with Chicago being favored by seven, but for the most part, the Lions aren't getting much respect for this one.
The over/under opened at 46 points and has hovered around there by most odds makers. As noted by OddsShark, the total has gone over more often than naught with both of these teams, and it might be a smart bet here given the quarterbacks at work in Jay Cutler and Matthew Stafford.
