Detroit Lions defensive tackle Corey Williams returned to the practice field on Thursday for the first time since he underwent knee surgery on Sept. 25, according to Lions insider Tim Twentyman.

Williams was listed as a limited participant, along with defensive ends Cliff Avril and Ronnell Lewis. Tight end Brandon Pettigrew, linebacker Stephen Tulloch and wide receiver Titus Young are all dealing with knee injuries of varying severity and were limited on Thursday, as well.

Cornerbacks Bill Bentley and Jacob Lacey were held out of practice entirely. Bentley has been nursing a shoulder injury that he re-aggravated in Sunday's victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, while Lacey suffered a concussion in the game and has yet to be medically cleared to return to action. Fellow defensive back Louis Delmas (knee) remained out of action on Thursday, as did defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch, who was given a day of rest.

The Lions will shoot for consecutive victories for the first time this season as they face the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
