The Lions will try and bounce back from a dispiriting loss to the Bears when they host the Seahawks on Sunday.

The Detroit Lions (2-4) will enter Sunday's game vs. the Seattle Seahawks (4-3) in a critical point of their season. With four losses, the Lions are in danger of putting themselves squarely behind the eight ball in the playoff race. After a comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6, the Lions were beaten down by the Chicago Bears last Monday night.

The Seahawks, meanwhile, are also coming off a 13-6 loss, in their case at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. With the Niners likely to win the NFC West and Detroit far out of contention in the NFC North, Sunday's game between the Seahawks and Lions could potentially be implicated in a wildcard tiebreaker.

Task one for Detroit will be to reenergize the team's disappointing passing game. Matthew Stafford was held to just a 74.6 passer rating against the Bears, while Calvin Johnson caught just three passes for 34 yards. The bad news for the Lions is that the Seahawks have one of the best pass defenses in the NFL, having held opposing quarterbacks to just a 74.2 rating

Sunday's game kicks off at 1 p.m. on FOX.
