Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson may be out for the season, but that did not stop him from trying to fire up his teammates before Sunday's 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Burleson suffered a gruesome leg injury last Monday night in Detroit's ugly 13-7 loss to the Chicago Bears. The fractured leg landed the receiver almost immediately on injured reserve. Prior to the injury, he had the third-most receiving yards on the team behind Calvin Johnson and Brandon Pettigrew. Burleson's two touchdown catches actually led the team.

The motivational tactics seemed to work, especially for Titus Young, the man who replaced Burleson in Detroit's starting offense. Young caught nine balls for 100 yards and two touchdowns against Seattle, including the game-winner in the final minute. The nine catches and 100 yards were both a career-high for Young, while the two touchdowns matched a career-high originally set last season against the Green Bay Packers.
