As many as 10 Lions players were held out of Wednesday's practice, including both Calvin Johnson and Mikel Leshoure.

Heading into a manageable game with a lowly Jacksonville team on Sunday, a pair of key offensive weapons in Calvin Johnson and Mikel Leshoure headlined the Detroit Lions' initial Week 9 injury report after missing Wednesday's practice.

Johnson, who was visibly hampered during Detroit's 28-24 win over the Seahawks, was held out of action with the same knee injury that he has been nursing for the better part of the year. And according to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com, Leshoure missed practice for a personal reason and is not dealing with any type of injury.

Along with not having the services of Johnson to begin the week once again, starting wide receiver Titus Young was also a limited player on Wednesday with a knee injury of his own. Young joined Justin Durant (concussion), Jacob Lacey (concussion) and Stephen Tulloch (knee) as one of four Detroit players who were limited participants on the first injury report of the week.
