Ndamukong Suh's block on Winston Justice deemed legal by NFL

Kyle Terada-US PRESSWIRE

Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh's recent block on an opposing Indianapolis Colts lineman was ruled a legal play by the league.

Although his hit on Indianapolis Colts tackle Winston Justice resulted in an unfortunate concussion, Detroit Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh will not be fined by the league according to a report by Pro Football Talk.

Suh continues to be monitored intensely by the league office on a play-by-play basis, but was not deemed to have committed an illegal block on Justice during Sunday's game after officials fully reviewed the tape. The Colts publicly complained that Suh intentionally celebrated after causing the injury, even though the Lions completely altered the momentum with an interception on the same play.
