The Michigan Wolverines opened their exhibition season with an 83-47 win over Northern Michigan.
Michigan, which played without suspended star Trey Burke, got balanced scoring as four players finished in double figures, let by freshman Nik Stauskas with 17. Stauskas shot 4-for-6 from 3-point range. Michigan shot just 43 percent for the game, but the Wolverines made 42 percent of their 3-pointers.
Matt Craggs led Northern Michigan with 13 points and seven rebounds.
The Wolverines jumped out to a 17-0 lead to start the game, including 3-pointers by Albrecht, Hardaway Jr. and Robinson III. Northern Michigan cut the lead to 31-21 late in the first half, but was never able to get within single digits.
Michigan plays an exhibition against Saginaw Valley State on Monday.
