The No. 2 ranked Michigan Wolverines will look to improve to 15-0 on Sunday, when they host the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Crisler Center. Michigan is coming off a dominant 94-66 victory over Northwestern in their Big Ten opener on Thursday.
Off to their best start since the 1985-86 season, the No. 2 ranked Michigan Wolverines will look to remain undefeated when they host Iowa Sunday afternoon at Crisler Arena. Tip-off is set for 12:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast by the Big Ten Network.
The Wolverines are coming off one of their most dominating wins of the season in their Big Ten opener Thursday, when they crushed the Northwestern Wildcats 94-66. Sophomore guard Trey Burke led Michigan with 23 points and five assists, while junior Tim Hardaway Jr. added 21 points as well. The victory improved the Wolverines to 14-0 overall, two victories behind a 16-0 start to the 1985-86 season.
Meanwhile, Iowa comes to Ann Arbor off an especially tough loss in Monday's Big Ten opener, when they fell to Indiana 69-65 at home.
And if the Hawkeyes are to pull the upset on Sunday, they'll need a better effort from leading scorer Roy Deyvn Marble. Marble finished with 14 points against Indiana, but shot just 1-for-14 from the field in a losing effort. Aaron White added 15 points and six rebounds for Iowa, which fell to 11-3 with the loss.
