Michigan DL Nathan Brink was injured during the Wolverines' bye week, and has been listed as out indefinitely.

Michigan Wolverines defensive lineman Nathan Brink will be out indefinitely with an undisclosed injury, according to MLive's Kyle Meinke.

Brink's injury hurts Michigan's defensive line depth, which was already being tested with the absence of Brennen Beyer, who will return this week after missing the past two games. Junior Jibreel Black and freshmen Keith Heitzman and Ondre Pipkins will likely team up to take over the reps vacated by Brink, per Meinke.

Michigan is also still dealing with the loss of defensive lineman Chris Wormley, who is out for the season with a torn ACL. However, they will get fellow defensive lineman Richard Ash back for this weekend's game at Purdue.

Brink, a junior who is in his first season on scholarship, recorded two tackles during the Wolverines' first four games, including 1.5 for a loss. He has been serving as the primary backup to defensive tackle Will Campbell and defensive end Craig Roh.
