Michigan Wolverines running back Fitzgerald Toussaint was sentenced on Tuesday for an offseason drunk-driving arrest.

Michigan Wolverines junior running back Fitzgerald Toussaint was sentenced on Tuesday for his offseason arrest for driving a vehicle while visibly impaired. Toussaint was sentenced to $1,487.56 in fines and court costs, must attend 10 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and abstain from drugs and alcohol for 90 days during which he is subject to random testing.

Toussaint was arrested on July 21; he registered a .12 blood-alcohol-level after running a red light in Saline, Mich. in a pickup truck. Toussaint plead guilty in August to the lesser charge of operating a vehicle while visibly impaired and was suspended for one-game; he missed the Wolverines season opening 41-14 loss to Alabama.

On the season, Toussaint has rushed 81 times for 283 yards and four touchdowns, adding another 34 yards on five receptions. Last season he averaged 5.6 yards per carry and ran for 1,041 yards. Toussaint and the Wolverines take Nebraska at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
