Nebraska made three fields goals in the third quarter to extend their lead to 16-9 after three quarters.

The Wolverines have been without starting quarterback Denard Robinson, who left the game late in the second quarter with what was reported to be a cut on his elbow. Robinson was 6-of-11 passing for 55 yards and rushed 10 times for 46 yards before leaving the game with the injury. Backup quarterback Russell Bellomy is 1-of-11 for 12 yards and an interception, while rushing three times for minus-16 yards.
The Michigan offense has struggled without Robinson, as they have only accumulated 145 yards of offense through three quarters.
