Clark stole a MacBook Air laptop from a floormate at Stockwell Hall in June and pled guilty to the charge in September. As terms of the probation, Clark must abstain from drugs and alcohol and provide proof of full-time school or employment. In addition he has 60 days to pay $1,741 in fines and court costs.
Clark was suspended for a week and missed Michigan's season opener against Alabama. He has 18 tackles on the season, five of them for a loss of yards, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble. Clark has started three games for the Wolverines this season.
As a first-time offender under 21 years old, he was sentenced as part of the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act, which will allow his record to be cleared if he does not violate the terms of his probation.
