After putting one in the win column on Friday night, the Michigan State Spartans look to add another W to their record tonight when they host the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans at the Breslin Center.
The Spartans took out their frustrations, built up after two tough losses to North Carolina and Duke to start the season, on Texas Southern in a 76-41 win that showcased the Spartans' trademark defense and rebounding as the began the milder portion of their preseason schedule.
Draymond Green remains the key for Michigan State with his ability to set the tone of play on the court. Green combined with Adreian Payne to score 22 points and control the glass with 21 rebounds.
Arkansas-Little Rock arrives in East Lansing with a 2-2 record after losing Friday night at Eastern Michigan after leading at halftime. The Trojans play out of the Sun Belt Conference and won their conference tournament last year to make the NCAA tournament.
AR-LR lost their top three scorers from last year's team and are led this year by sophomore guard Chuck Guy as well as seniors D'Andre Williams and Courtney Jackson. AR-LR has wins this season over IUPUI and Northwestern State.
