Draymond Green and Brandon Wood were just outside of double figures with nine points each. Of the 12 players that saw action for Michigan State 11 cracked the scoring column.

Defensively, Michigan State was just as solid. The Spartans were able to hold the Trojans were able to 31.5 % shooting from the field as Arkansas-Little Rock hit only 17 of 54 shots. The Trojans were even worse from behind the three point arc, making only 4 of 19 attempts.
