Draymond Green's Triple-Double Powers Michigan State To 75-57 Win Over Penn State

East Lansing, MI (Sports Network) - Kalin Lucas scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Michigan State Spartans to a 75-57 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions in a Big Ten Conference showdown at the Breslin Center.

Draymond Green turned in an outstanding performance for the Spartans (14-10, 6-6 Big 10), totaling 15 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Delvon Roe also got involved, netting 15 points in the win.

Talor Battle led the way for PSU (12-11,5-7), netting 19 points in a losing effort, while Jeff Brooks chipped in with 15 points for the Nittany Lions.

The Spartans took control of the contest in the first half, shooting 59.3 percent from the floor, to take a 41-21 lead at the break.

MSU put the game away in the second stanza, knocking down 22-of-29 free throw attempts, en route to an 18-point victory

Free-throw shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as MSU outscored the Nittany Lions 26-4 from the charity stripe.
