Michigan State Vs. Iowa Final Score: Spartans Pummel Hawkeyes, 95-61

No. 7 Michigan State (15-2) did not take the Iowa Hawkeyes (10-7) lightly on Tuesday night, beating up on their lowly Big Ten conference opponent 95-61. It was Michigan State's biggest margin of victory since rolling over the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks 110-68 on December 4.

Michigan State shot the lights out, hitting 37-of-60 shots overall and knocking down 10-of-18 three-pointers. They weren't all offense, though, as they held the Hawkeyes to under 40-percent shooting and kept their 11th opponent to 65 points or less on the season.

Draymond Green led all scorers with 22 on 9-for-12 shooting and added nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Keith Appling contributed 15 points and nine assists.

Iowa was led by Roy Devyn-Marble's 12 points and eight rebounds.

Michigan State hits the road for two, first stopping at Northwestern on Saturday before returning to Michigan to take on the Wolverines in Ann Arbor a week from tonight.
