Brandon Wood, formerly of Michigan State, was arrested on Sunday for assaulting a woman.
Former Michigan State and Valparaiso stand out player Brandon Wood has found himself in trouble, being arrested in Chicago on Sunday morning after allegedly assaulting a woman, slapping her after she told him that he had to leave her home.
Wood faces three misdemeanor charges of battery, assault and criminal trespassing of a residence. The 23 year old allegedly was at a gathering and was told to leave, but refused to do so which led to an altercation and eventually an assault by Wood, who would not leave the property. He has posted bond and is set to appear at a misdemeanor court on June 1.
Wood was the third highest scorer on the Big Ten champion Spartans in 2011/2012 with 8.8 points per game.
