Michigan State's Draymond Green has been invited to attend the NBA Draft Combine in June.
On Tuesday afternoon, the NBA officially announced the names of the players invited to the Draft Combine being held in Chicago on June 7-8. The Michigan State Spartans will be represented by senior forward Draymond Green. Green averaged 16.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game last season while leading the Spartans to Big Ten championships in the regular season and conference tournament, in addition to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
Green is projected as a late-first round selection by ESPN.com and is considered the 36th best prospect in DraftExpress.com's top 100.
In addition to the combine, Green has been invited to a workout with the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. Green will be joined by Andrew Nicholson (St. Bonaventure), Mike Scott (Virginia), Kevin Jones (West Virginia), Scott Machado (Iona) and Charlie Westbrook (South Dakota) to work out for Celtics executives, according to Jeff Goodman of CBS Sports.
The Celtics currently hold the 21st and 22nd overall picks in next month's draft.
