Michigan State Vs. Boise State: 4 Broncos Suspended For Game

Stay connected for news and updates

When the No. 24 Boise State Broncos take on the No. 13 Michigan State Spartans, they will be without four players who have been suspended, Boise State announced prior to the game.

The sole starter of the four suspended players is senior long snapper, Chris Roberson, who earned a one-game suspension for violation of an unspecified team rule. Third-string quarterback Jimmy Laughrea and backup wide receiver Dallas Burroughs also earned the same punishment for unspecified team rule violations.

The fourth and final suspended player will be third-string running back Jay Ajayi, who pled guilty to misdemeanor petty theft in December and sat out of the MAACO Bowl in December.

Snapping in Roberson's place will be Kevin Keane, a walk-on transfer from Ohio Wesleyan.
