Michigan State will take on Central Michigan on Saturday in Mount Pleasant in a rare road game against a MAC team.

Michigan State opened its 2012 season last Friday with a big 17-13 win over Boise State. It was a lot closer than most expected, but the Spartans survived for the victory thanks to outstanding defense and an amazing performance by running back Le'Veon Bell.

In Week 2, Michigan State will be on the road for a game at Central Michigan. It's not every day you see a Big Ten team playing at a MAC school, but the Spartans will be doing exactly that on Saturday.

The Chippewas enter this week's game with a 1-0 record. They struggled against Southeast Missouri State last Thursday before eventually pulling away for a 38-27 victory. If they even want to think about pulling off an upset similar to their shocking victory at Spartan Stadium in 2009, they will need to play much better on Saturday.

Saturday's game in Mount Pleasant is slated to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET. ESPNU will have the broadcast.
