Michigan State mascot "Sparty" appears in the latest "This is SportsCenter" commercial released by ESPN.

Getting into the act for the latest "This is SportsCenter" commercial released by ESPN, the mascot for the Michigan State Spartans, Sparty, makes a little appearance as SportsCenter anchor Jay Harris makes his smoothie round for the morning. Alas, Harris finds the two office blenders a bit ... occupied:

Apparently, if there's one thing that Sparty knows about, it's how to get way too intense while making a protein shake in an office setting. Clearly, this is a man that prides himself on his ability to get absolutely pumped up, whether he's running the sidelines in front of 70,000 screaming fans or bothering Jay Harris as he tries to make some breakfast.

For those wondering how Sparty manages to keep such an impressive, fuzzy physique, it appears that making protein shakes in Bristol, Conn., is part of his routine. Jay Harris probably isn't as enamored with Sparty's routine as I am, though.
