Could Michigan State's Pat Narduzzi be in the mix for the Boston College head coaching job?

College football's coaching carousel is just about to hit full swing, and that means Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi will see his name come up on assistant coach "up-and-coming" lists with regularity. There's no legitimate ties or rumors just yet, but Bruce Feldman of CBS did recently put Narduzzi as someone to watch for potentially landing the Boston College job.

Boston College fired head football coach Frank Spaziani on Sunday, after spending 16 years with the school. Each of the four years that Spaziani was at the helm, the football team had a worse record. Feldman also listed the San Francisco 49ers' offensive coordinator, Greg Roman and Arizona Cardinals assistant John McNulty as candidates.

Again, Narduzzi hasn't been formally linked to this position or anything of the sort, his name is simply being floated as a possibility. It's likely his name will be mentioned again and again, as he's led the Spartans to the top defense in the Big Ten for the second consecutive season.
