The Michigan football team has struggled the last few years to find a kicker that can consistently make field goals. They have tried a few different guys out at the kicker position, but nobody seems to be able to perform well during actual games.â†µ
Perhaps Michigan should have taken a look at the basketball team for help at the kicker position. Senior Zack Novak was in Michigan Stadium last week, and while there he booted a 50-yard field goal, and yes, there is video evidence of the kick:
Although Novak did not actually kick the ball off the ground, it was still impressive considering he is a basketball player. If only Michigan's actual kickers could put the ball through the uprights with ease like that.
