Michigan represent the Big Ten against Arkansas of the SEC.

The Michigan Wolverines (15-4, 5-2) enjoy a half-game lead in the Big Ten standings over four other teams as they step out of conference play on Saturday to visit the Arkansas Razorbacks (13-5, 2-2) of the SEC.

After a hard-fought win over rival Michigan State on Tuesday, Michigan will try to strengthen the Big Ten's standing among all conferences in this inter-conference battle against Arkansas. Despite leading the Big Ten and winning three of their last four games, Michigan has lost their last two road games at Indiana and Iowa.

The Wolverines are led by Tim Hardaway Jr. and his 15.4 points per game but they need a strong effort from behind the arc by shooters Trey Burke and Zack Novak. The pair combined to make five of eleven threes against Michigan State and make the Wolverines a tough cover when they have it going.

Arkansas should be ready to play after getting drubbed at Kentucky in their last game. The Razorbacks are led by junior forward Marshawn Powell who has loads of game, averaging 19.5 points and six rebounds per game. Michigan will have to keep guards B.J. Young and Madracus Wade in check and keep them from finding their rhythm from behind the arc.

The game starts at 2:00 p.m. ET and will be televised on CBS.
