Michigan Football Recruiting: E.J. Levenberry Commits To Florida State

Michigan was hoping to add another four-star linebacker to its 2013 recruiting class on Tuesday. E.J. Levenberry was down to the Wolverines and Florida State, but he ultimately opted for the Seminoles. Levenberry explained the decision to Rivals.com.

"I didn't know I would fit in so well with everyone, players and students. I just felt so comfortable," he said. "I've visited FSU two times before, but that was just the coaches or a game. This time I got to meet everybody and see what a whole week was like and I loved it."

Levenberry was just in Ann Arbor earlier this month to visit for the spring game. It seemed to go well by all accounts, but not well enough for Michigan to overtake Florida State in the race for his services.

With Levenberry passing on Michigan, the Wolverines appear to be set at linebacker with Mike McCray and Ben Gedeon.
