Michigan Football Recruiting: Su'a Cravens To Announce Decision On Wednesday

UPDATE: As expected, Cravens has committed to USC.

--

Michigan has added two highly regarded defensive recruits to its 2013 football recruiting class in the last few days, and it has a chance to add another one on Wednesday. At 2:30 p.m. ET, safety Su'a Cravens is going to announce his decision, and the Wolverines are among his four finalists. Also on the list of finalists are Ohio State, UCLA and USC.

Cravens had planned on visiting Michigan this month in advance of Wednesday's announcement. He had also planned on making an unofficial trip to Nebraska, but both visits were canceled. As a result, it's pretty clear that USC is the favorite to land Cravens, and it would be a big-time upset if Michigan somehow ended up getting his commitment. Cravens would be a nice addition to Michigan's class, as he is a five-star recruit and one of the top safeties in the nation, but it's highly unlikely he will pick a school other than the Trojans.

In other (and more promising) recruiting news, Michigan has made the top three for safety Leon McQuay III, who is a four-star recruit from Florida. Vanderbilt and USC are the other two schools at the top of McQuay's list, and he is planning to announce his decision on Nov. 21.

Michigan also appears to have made running back Jordan Wilkins' final list. He posted a tweet on Monday mentioning Auburn, Michigan, Tennessee and Vanderbilt, and he's planning to visit Ann Arbor this weekend. This visit comes after he nearly committed to Auburn following an unofficial visit, so it's big for Michigan that he is planning to check out its campus before making a decision.
