Michigan Football's Fitzgerald Toussaint Due In Court On Aug. 28

Four days before Michigan battles defending national champion Alabama in Dallas, Wolverines running back Fitzgerald Toussaint will be in court.

On Aug. 28, Toussaint will be arraigned in 14A-4 District Court in Saline following his July 21 arrest for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to AnnArbor.com.

Toussaint will face one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to police, and is scheduled to be arraigned in 14A-4 District Court on Aug. 28. Police say he will not face a weapons charge, despite finding a pellet gun designed to look like a handgun near the driver's seat of his truck.

Toussaint was cleared to practice Monday, although his status for the opener has yet to be announced. He remains indefinitely suspended, but his court date earlier in the week could be a factor for the game.
