Michigan Football To Practice At Ford Field On Wednesday

Stay connected for news and updates

Michigan football coach Brady Hoke revealed in his press conference on Tuesday that the Wolverines will shift practice to Ford Field in Detroit on Wednesday with an eye toward their season-opening game against the Alabama Crimson Tide on September 1st.

While Michigan is used to playing in big venues, the expected atmosphere in Cowboys Stadium will be an intense way for the Wolverines to kick off the season. The state-of-the-art football stadium has all of the bells and whistles to enhance the experience for fans including a monstrous scoreboard hanging over the field.

Add to that two rabid fan bases filled with hope and high expectations and the environment will be electric which is why Hoke wants to create a little sample chaos at Ford Field to prepare his team for the unique setting.
