Michigan Wolverines running back Fitzgerald Toussaint plead down to operating a vehicle while visibly impaired and awaits sentencing on October 23rd.

The Michigan tailback was arrested July 21 and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated before pleading down the lesser charge on Tuesday. Toussaint has yet to be cleared for the team's opener against Alabama on Saturday and a team spokesman said that his guilty plea has not changed anything. Coach Brady Hoke will address the media on Wednesday. The running back was suspended following his arrest and missed the first week of practice, but has since rejoined the team.

Toussaint rushed for 1,041 yards and nine touchdowns last season. He faces a maximum punishment of 93 days in jail, a $300 fine and 360 hours of community service.
