The Pistons will try for their second victory after starting the season 0-8.
The Detroit Pistons host the Boston Celtics at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, looking for their second win after starting the season 1-9.
The Pistons started the season 0-8 before beating Philadelphia on the road Nov. 14. They had a fourth-quarter lead against the Orlando Magic at home on Nov. 16, looking for their second straight win, but the Magic came back in the final minutes to take the lead and win.
The Pistons are giving up the seventh most points per game of any team in the league, and Boston is 13th in the league in points per game.
The Celtics started the season 2-3 but have since won four of their last five, including a 105-89 win over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday. Rajon Rondo had 20 assists in the game.
The Pistons won two out of three games against the Celtics last season. The team has been led by Greg Monroe, who has recovered from a slow start to the season and is averaging 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.1 blocked shots per game.
