The Detroit Pistons sit in the cellar of the Central Division, and have the second-worst record in the NBA behind the Washington Wizards.

The Detroit Pistons weren't expected to be great this season, and so far, they have lived up to expectations. The Pistons are 2-10, and are in last place in the Eastern Conference's Central Division. After only 12 games, they're already five games behind the first place Milwaukee Bucks. The only team that's started worse this year than the Pistons are the Washington Wizards, who are still searching for their first win after ten straight losses to start the season.

Around the league, the New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies are tied for the best winning percentage in the NBA, winning at a .800 clip to start the season. The Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder are close behind with a .750 winning percentage. The Heat, Thunder, and Atlanta Hawks all have three game winning streaks, the biggest active streaks in the league right now. Other than the Wizards, the Hornets have the league's longest losing streak, which stands at five games.
