The Detroit Pistons are slowly climbing up the NBA power rankings as they rebound from their 0-8 start to the season.

After starting the season 0-8, the Detroit Pistons are 6-13 and slowly moving up the various NBA power rankings from around the web. Detroit still struggles mightily on the road, but has become a solid team at home.

In Seth Rosenthal's power rankings at SB Nation, the Pistons come in at No. 26 after playing .500 basketball over the past two weeks. Marc Stein of ESPN has Detroit at No. 24, as does John Schuhmann of NBA.com, who points out that the Pistons have the league's fifth-best home offense. Detroit also ranks No. 24 in Kurt Helin's power rankings at Pro Basketball Talk. In Sam Amico's rankings at Fox Sports the Pistons come in at No. 25.

Overall that gives the Pistons an average power ranking of 24.6, still an improvement on their past power rankings this season. The Pistons host the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, Dec. 5 as they try to continue their home success.
