Major League Baseball has announced the start times for this year's World Series, which could potentially include three games in Detroit.
The start times for this year's World Series games were announced by Major League Baseball on Monday, as Al Beaton of Bless You Boys writes. Following Game 7 of the NLCS on Monday night, the Detroit Tigers will be heading to either San Francisco or St. Louis to face the winner of that match-up.
With FOX broadcasting the games in primetime for the East Coast, start times for each game are past 8 p.m. locally. The times for each game are as follows, all in Eastern time:
- Game 1 - Wednesday, Oct 24: Air time - 7:30 PM, First pitch - 8:07 PM
- Game 2 - Thursday, Oct. 25: Air time - 7:30 PM, First pitch - 8:07 PM
- Game 3 - Saturday, Oct. 27: Air time - 7:30 PM, First pitch - 8:07 PM
- Game 4 - Sunday, Oct. 28: Air time - 8:00 PM, First pitch - 8:15 PM
- (If necessary) Game 5 - Monday, Oct 29: Air time - 7:30 PM, First pitch - 8:07 PM
- (If necessary) Game 6 - Wednesday, Oct. 31: Air time - 7:30 PM, First pitch - 8:07 PM
- (If necessary) Game 7 - Thursday, November 1: Air time - 7:30 PM, First pitch - 8:07 PM
