The San Francisco Giants hold a 2-0 lead over the Detroit Tigers after six innings in Game 3 of the World Series.
The Tigers had an opportunity to score in the fifth inning when Omar Infante singled to advance Alex Avila and put runners on first and second with one out for the third time in the game. Austin Jackson then walked to load the bases which marked the first time that the Tigers were able to get a runner to third base in the last 12 innings.
With the bases loaded, Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong struckout Quintin Berry and got Miguel Cabrera to pop out in the infield to end the inning.
