The schedule for the 2012 American League Division Series between the Detroit Tigers in the Oakland Athletics has been released, and Game 1 will take place on Saturday in Detroit at 6 p.m. ET. The Oakland Athletics clinched the AL West on Wednesday afternoon with a 12-5 win over the Texas Rangers, and now the Tigers will be tasked with slowing down the Athletics.

Game 4 (if necessary) - Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Oakland
Game 5 (if necessary) - Thursday, Oct. 11 at Oakland

The winner of series will take on the winner of the series between the New York Yankees and either the Baltimore Orioles or Texas Rangers. The AL Championship Series is set to begin Oct. 13, and all games will also be televised on TBS.
