Nikola Pekovic and Martell Webster each tallied 13 points for the Timberwolves, who shot 45 percent from the field.
Austin Daye finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Pistons, who made just 33.8 percent of their shots. Charlie Villanueva added 16 points and eight boards.
