As if the Pistons preseason opener wasn't discouraging enough, they also lost Terrico White and Jonas Jerebko to pretty serious injuries. Shortly after the game, it was reported that Terrico White was carried from the training room with what was later ruled a broken right foot.
The bigger concern rests on the status of Jonas Jerebko who left the game early with what was originally deemed a right shoulder injury. That wasn't the serious injury, though, because after the game, Vincent Goodwill of the Detroit News reported that Jerebko was on crutches with a strained right achilles. Jerebko will be re-evaluated tomorrow, but Keith Langlois mentioned on Pistons.com that Jerebko's "immediate outlook isn't good." Obviously, this is the worst news for the Pistons, as Jerebko was one of their better players last season.
