UFC 123 took place Saturday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills, and by all accounts the event was a success. The atmosphere seemed to be very good for the UFC's first trip to the Detroit area since 1996, so I'm willing to bet it won't take 14 years for the next stop by the promotion. The Detroit area showed its appreciation for MMA and more specifically the UFC, and I think Dana White realizes the potential for success in this market.
