ESPN Homecoming To Feature Magic Johnson

ESPN's "Homecoming with Rick Reilly" series is set to feature former Michigan State and Los Angeles Lakers star Magic Johnson in an upcoming episode, which will film in East Lansing:

ESPN Homecoming with Rick Reilly is coming to Michigan State to feature Magic Johnson. The show will tape on Thursday, Dec. 9 at Jenison Field House. To request an invitation to the event, Spartan fans should log onto www.onsetproductions.com and click on the ESPN HOMECOMING logo.

Johnson played two seasons for Michigan State from 1977-79, averaging 17.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.9 assists in his collegiate career. Johnson led Michigan State to the 1979 NCAA championship, defeating Larry Bird's Indiana State club in the final. He went on to an illustrious NBA career, winning five NBA titles and appearing in 12 All-Star Games during a 13-season career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
