Michigan State Basketball Returns From Maui, Tops Tennessee Tech, 73-55

East Lansing, MI (Sports Network) - Durrell Summers scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field to help second-ranked Michigan State beat Tennessee Tech, 73-55, at the Breslin Center.

The Spartans (5-1) notched their 50th straight home win over a non-conference opponent.

Draymond Green finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Michigan State, which recently finished in third place in the Maui Invitational. Their lone loss to date came against UConn, the eventual Maui champ.

The Spartans have a huge test looming on Wednesday, when they visit top-ranked Duke as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

Kalin Lucas had 15 points in the win.

Zach Bailey and Kevin Murphy both scored 11 points for the Golden Eagles (0-3).
