Tom Izzo was originally set to fly into Burke Lakefront this afternoon, but his plane was diverted, as the activity log on FlightAware.com shows. The reason for the diversion? This is what the AP's Tom Withers reports:
Izzo arrived in Cleveland in separate plane from Cavs owner Dan Gilbert. Izzo's plane diverted to county airport to avoid cameras.
Withers also reports that the Cavaliers are working out prospective players today and that Izzo is "expected to observe, perhaps to see how assistants work."
