Rivals Releases 2011 Michigan Prospect Top 25

Rivals.com's top 25 recruits list is out for the state of Michigan. This ranking will likely change a bit from now until signing day next February just because these recruits have another season of high school football to play, but it is still interesting to take a look at how the players are rated right now.

Most of the recruits on the list are uncommitted, but below is a list of the ones who have already decided on a school unofficially.

Michigan

5. Brennen Beyer (DE)
6. Delonte Hollowell (DB)
9. Shawn Conway (WR)

Michigan State

1. Lawrence Thomas (LB)
12. Onaje Miller (ATH)
13. Taiwan Jones (ATH)

Indiana

7. Raymon Taylor (ATH)

Aside from the fact that Indiana landed a four-star from Michigan already, the most interesting thing involves the players who have yet to commit to a school. Specifically, where the currently uncommitted players in the top 10 decide to play will be very interesting, especially since most have a couple favorites right now.

For example, DeAnthony Arnett, the wide receiver from Saginaw and second best player in the state, likely will go to Michigan State or a big-name school in another conference. He has interest from the likes of Oklahoma, Miami and USC, but if he decides to stay in state, he will likely go to MSU.

Other uncommitted players in the top 10 include Anthony Zettel, who many believe will decide to go to Michigan; Justice Hayes, who has both Michigan and MSU at the top of his list; Valdez Showers, who has a variety of schools still in consideration; and Kenny Knight, who is still waiting for an offer from Michigan and MSU.
