The Lions kicked off a three-day minicamp earlier today, and before taking the field they made a few adjustments to their roster:
↵- ↵
- Claimed linebacker Lee Campbell, who was waived earlier this week by the Giants. Campbell is an undrafted free agent out of the University of Minnesota. ↵
- Released long snapper Sam Scroggins, who was signed as an undrafted free agent earlier in the offseason. ↵
- Signed undrafted free agent safety Randy Phillips (from Miami, FL). This move hasn't been confirmed by the team yet, but Phillips was on the field at the minicamp today, according to multiple people in attendance. Originally Phillips was supposed to sign with the Lions right after the draft, but he only recently passed a physical, delaying the move until now. ↵
When the Lions wrap up their minicamp on Friday, the team will have more than a month off until training camp begins at the end of July.
