Al Jefferson Offered to Pistons for Tayshaun Prince?

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been looking to trade forward Al Jefferson before Thursday night’s NBA Draft. The most popular current rumor is that the T-Wolves offered Jefferson to Memphis for former Spartan Zach Randolph.

But according to ESPN.com’s Chad Ford, Jefferson was also offered to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Tayshaun Prince and the number seven overall pick.

Ford reported, however, that the Pistons weren’t interested in the deal.

DraftExpress.com also reported (with some skepticism) via Twitter that Minnesota offered Jefferson, along with the 16th and 23rd selections in the first round, hoping to yield Prince, the seventh pick, and Chris Wilcox.
