Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Brennan Boesch hit a two-run homer and knocked in three, as the Detroit Tigers earned a 10-4 win over the Atlanta Braves in the finale of a three-game interleague set at Turner Field.

Austin Jackson went 3-for-5 with two runs batted in and scored twice, while Ramon Santiago also drove in a pair for Detroit, which was able to salvage a win in the series and won for only the second time in the last six games overall.

Justin Verlander (9-5) earned the win after giving up four runs on six hits with two walks and six strikeouts over seven frames.

Troy Glaus and Brian McCann each had an RBI double for the Braves, who despite winning the series have dropped four of their last six.
