Michigan International Speedway Undamaged By Nearby Tornado

Some really nasty weather rolled through southeast Michigan last night, resulting in a tornado that did some serious damage to Dundee Township. Michigan International Speedway, which is about 30 miles west of Dundee, thankfully went unharmed last night despite the severe weather.

MIS officials say track received no damage from tornado that struck nearby Dundee last night.

The Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 is a week from today at MIS, so it's good news that there was no damage. Anything too serious would have made things awfully complicated with NASCAR coming to town next week.
