Ryan Perry To Be Activated Saturday

MLB.com’s Jason Beck reports on his Twitter feed (via the Toledo Blade) that reliever Ryan Perry will be activated from the disabled list and rejoin the Detroit Tigers on Saturday.

Perry pitched three games on a rehab assignment for Triple-A Toledo, recovering from bicep tendinitis. He allowed no earned runs in 3.2 innings, with four strikeouts and four walks.

No word yet on who the Tigers will move off the active roster for Perry. SB Nation’s Detroit Tigers blog, Bless You Boys, thinks Enrique Gonzalez is an ideal candidate. Gonzalez joined the Tigers when Perry was put on the DL.
