Dontrelle Willis was traded by the Tigers to the Diamondbacks, which ended up designating him for assignment shortly after. Fellow former Tiger Nate Robertson's 2010 season has now followed a somewhat similar script, as the Marlins have decided to designate him for assignment.

Robertson, who was traded to Florida before the season, had another rough outing last night, giving up eight runs (seven of which were earned) in just five innings of action. That is why the Marlins decided to cut ties with him so quickly, as he is just another former Tigers pitcher riding the struggle bus.
